Brake Hose Assemblies

From prototypes to OEM assemblies, Harco Manufacturing produces superior brake hose assemblies that meet high industry standards and are SAE J1401 and FMVSS 106 compliant. 8820 brake hose, available only from Harco, exceeds GMW3056 requirements, is weather, moisture, and ozone-resistant, and functions in environments from -50 to 121 degrees Celsius. All this, while delivering the lowest volumetric expansion of any textile-reinforced hose in the world. We can also design, develop and validate the optimal routings for our hose assemblies on your vehicle to ensure reliable performance under all driving and environmental conditions.

At Harco Manufacturing, we can equip our brake hose assemblies with brass or steel fittings, all mounting brackets and hardware, ancillary brake piping, routing or protective sleeves or bumpers, and captured bolts and washers for assembly to your vehicle. Brass Fittings

Employing machining and cold forming processes, we can produce a broad range of superior custom brass fitting designs: Metric or English threads; Barbed, Grooved, or Smooth eyelets; brass junction fittings with ports from 90° to 180° apart.Upholding tolerances ranging from (+/-).010 to .0004 inches, our custom threaded fittings meet high SAE and TS standards for automotive applications. And, we offer internal thread sizes up to 12mm or 7/16 inch, and external thread sizes up to 16mm or 5/8 inch.

Harco is pleased to offer a selection of brass banjo fittings for the automotive industry: Each fitting can be manufactured to meet specific brake system requirements and routing needs. We provide several manufacturing processes, including CNC Machining and Cold forming. We adhere to SAE and TS standards, and can manufacture an array of diameters, lengths, and angles. Steel Fittings

All of our steel fittings can be electroplated with a variety of finishes, including zinc, zinc-nickel, zinc-iron, or tin-zinc.Upholding tolerances ranging from (+/-).010 to .0004 inches, our custom threaded fittings meet high SAE and TS standards for automotive applications. And, we offer internal thread sizes up to 12mm or 7/16 inch, and external thread sizes up to 16mm or 5/8 inch.

Our superior brazed steel tube and blocks meet high industry standards and can be employed in brake systems or other hydraulic applications. These configurable end fittings are ideal for solving difficult vehicle routing problems, or to mitigate the effects of brake system heating.Consisting of steel components brazed with copper at over 2,000°F, Harco tube and block fittings are available with a variety of electroplated protective finishes, including, zinc, zinc-nickel, zinc-iron, and tin-zinc.

Under Hood Brake Hose

Under Hood Brake Hose (or Stability Control Hose) is used in ABS systems to provide a more flexible connection and better sound damping than can be achieved by rigid lines or stainless steel-reinforced hoses. Harco's Under Hood Brake Hose is designed to live in engine compartment conditions while delivering rapid brake response and life-of-vehicle endurance. Constructed of high-temperature EPDM elastomers and aramid reinforcement fiber, Harco's Under Hood Brake Hose offers the best combination of heat resistance, low expansion, brake noise damping, and routing flexibility available in the market today.
